Monday Night Meditation at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Arlington, VA (UUCA)
7:30 – 8:45 in the Main Hall
Many thanks to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington for sponsoring our evening gathering for the past seven years.
This is a drop in class. Come anytime and when you do, feel free to come early, relax and settle in. A number of folks like to come early and enjoy some quiet time before we begin.
Class starts at 7:30 with a brief overview and welcome, followed by a thirty minute guided meditation. After a short break, we’ll explore a theme related to mindfulness and skillful living. There is occasionally time for questions and discussion afterward.
We end at 8:45PM, often with tea and snacks afterward.
There is no set fee for this class. In the Buddhist tradition, classes are offered in a spirit of generosity. A suggested donation of $10 – $15 supports the teacher and the sponsoring organizations in their charitable work.
More importantly, this helps guarantees no one is ever denied access to these practices and teachings.
I’m still working on finalizing the calendar, but this is who we have so far:
