Awakening the Felt-Sense of Loving Presence
Event Location: St. Luke’s Episcopal
December 7
9:30 – 4:30
Manager: Glen Harrison
What are you? Some traditions say it’s two essential elements: Wisdom and Love.
Wisdom is your capacity to see clearly.
Love is the heart space that can hold it all: Your suffering as well as your joy and the mystery of your unfolding life.
This daylong is dedicated to awakening your capacity for love.
Through short talks, guided experiences and inquiry you'll develop skills that can help you connect with a tangible and embodied sense of loving presence.
You'll learn:
Your unique pathways to access Loving Presence
Skills in awakening and cultivating somatic awareness
Meditation techniques for calming and accessing kindness, compassion and joy
Movement flows to help shift your brainwave states to more open and intuitive levels of awareness
This is not a classical meditation retreat where you are in silence the whole time and alternating between sitting and walking practices.
This retreat is highly experiential and interactive. In addition to internally-focused practices, through inquiry with a partner and small groups, you'll meet new people in a safe and supportive environment.
This venue is accessible for those with mobility impairments.
