RAIN Partners Intensive: Interpersonal Meditation that Can Heal and Transform Your Life
Saturday, November 13
9:30 – 12:30, Eastern Standard Time
Manager: Glen Harrison
Stress and suffering is alleviated through mindfulness and compassion. But how do you get in touch with what is between you and feeling free in a way that can help you see and feel more clearly?
The RAIN Meditation is a 4-step practice of mindfulness and compassion that can relieve the grip of limiting beliefs and painful emotions. When practiced as an interpersonal meditation with a RAIN partner, the power of RAIN to free your heart can grow exponentially.
In this RAIN Partner training you will learn all the basics that make practicing with a partner a safe, healing and gratifying experience. You will be introduced to a simple RAIN protocol that you’ll practice with partners.
To support you through the day you’ll have time dedicated to focusing inward through mindful movement, meditation, journaling and reflection as well as time exploring with your RAIN partners and for group discussion and sharing.
Practicing RAIN with a partner can provide a safe, supportive relational space that keeps you focused and accountable to your own healing. The practice can deepen intimacy with another person, remind us of our shared humanity and serve awakening together.
Please note that you do not need to come with a partner as we will assign partners during the daylong.
You can form RAIN partners with family members, friends, colleagues or meditators you don’t know. It’s an enlivening and transformational path to sangha—realizing our belonging to each other.
